Newsletter, Vol. 6 No. 1, 11 July 1978
The midsummer issue (July 1978) included the introduction of two new faculty members, a plea for bus transportation participation, and the announcement of a new Trinity event: an academic convocation to open the school year on September 8, 1978.

Newsletter, Vol. 6 No. 2, 10 August 1978
This issue of the newsletter from Headmaster Robert C. Goodman, Jr. included the expected announcements associated with an imminent school year. However, this issue also included an extensive list of "New Policies" concerning absences and late arrivals.

Newsletter, Vol. 6 No. 3, 30 August 1978
A final newsletter from Headmaster Robert C. Goodman, Jr. just before the start of the 1978-1979 school year included last-minute reminders about meetings and events.

Newsletter, Vol. 6 No. 4, 19 September 1978
The September 19, 1978 issue, mailed two weeks after the start of the school year, included a recap of the summer student trip to Mexico, and notification of a trip to France planned for March 1979. Seniors were encouraged to pursue scholarship opportunities and to pick up the newly-created college handbooks, prepared by the counseling staff. There was a T.P.A. meeting scheduled for September 21, which would allow parents to meet their student's teachers. In this issue, the T.P.A. was called the "Trinity Parents Association"; at other times it was styled "Trinity Patron's (sic) Association" or "Trinity Patrons Association."

Newsletter, Vol. 6 No. 5, 4 October 1978
This issue of the newsletter to parents and students devoted significant attention to the Guidance Committee, formed in the 1977-1978 school year to provide organized counseling services. This issue listed the faculty assigned to each grade to provide academic and social concerns. Other featured items were guidelines for homework assignments for absent students, the monthly art exhibit, and fundraising meetings for specific programs (tennis patrons, football booster patrons).

Newsletter, Vol. 6 No. 6, 26 October 1978
This issue of the newsletter to students and parents included the notice of the death of Albert E. McCue, who had joined the faculty earlier that academic year.

Newsletter, Vol. 6 No. 7, 14 November 1978
Within the customary numerous announcements in this issue, a notable event occurred: Trinity acquired three "TRS-80 mini-computer systems", purchased with support from the T.P.A. The school had been using facilities at the University of Richmond for computer programming classes. This marked the beginning of on-site technology education at Trinity. Also, the cross country team (boys) won the state championship--heralded as Trinity's first.

Newsletter, Vol. 6 No. 8, 13 December 1978
This holiday-themed issue of the newsletter celebrated academic achievements and highlighted seasonal activities and decorations on campus. A small item, which nevertheless showed Trinity's increasing public prominence, mentioned the many college representatives choosing to visit the Trinity campus.

Newsletter, Vol. 6 No. 9, 16 January 1979
A full calendar of events for the remainder of the 1978-1979 school year was included in this issue of the newsletter. Trinity again hosted a full-day conference, now called "Spiritual Emphasis Day," on January 23. The theme for the 1979 session was "Understanding Me," and would focus on "self-love and acceptance."

Newsletter, Vol. 7 [6] No. 10, 23 February 1979
This issue of the newsletter noted the anticipated arrival of 16 French students in late March, who would stay for a three-week visit. Trinity students would visit France in September 1979.

Newsletter, Special Edition, 2 April 1979
This special edition of the newsletter was entirely devoted to the program for "Middle East Emphasis Day," on April 10, 1979. This was an interdisciplinary, day-long series of seminars, lectures, discussions, presentations, art, and music, featuring 15 outside speakers.

Newsletter, Vol. 7 [6] No. 11, 4 April 1979
The art exhibit featured in this issue of the newsletter was that of noted local (nationally-known) artist Theresa Pollack. Trinity continued to feature the work of a different artist, drawn from the local community, almost every month. The Spring Fling, a school-wide fundraising festival, was approaching, and much of this issue of the newsletter was dedicated to promoting the event.

Newsletter, Vol. 7 [6] No. 12, 19 April 1979
Course selections and graduation requirements were the focus of this issue of the school newsletter, sent by Headmaster Robert C. Goodman, Jr.

Newsletter, Vol. 7 [6] No. 13, 15 May 1979
This issue announced a college-themed program for May 22 at which Trinity alumni would discuss the college process. The Trinity Players presented Arsenic and Old Lace. Headmaster Robert C. Goodman, Jr. added a concluding note of thanks to those who had made memorial gifts to the school.

Newsletter, Vol. 7 [6] No. 14, 25 May 1979
End-of-year business again required additional issues of the newsletter in May 1979. As was customary, exam schedules and protocols were announced. A concluding note from Headmaster Robert C. Goodman, Jr. mentioned the demographic decline in high school-age students, which was affecting enrollment nationwide. Trinity had some openings in the incoming eighth-grade class, and some in other grades. As an indicator of Trinity's strength, he noted that he expected 100 Advanced Placement exams to be administered in 1980, up from two in 1975.
