Newsletter, Vol. 5 No. 2, 18 August 1977
By August 18, 1977, it was time for Headmaster Robert C. Goodman, Jr. to use the newsletter to update parents and students about particular dates and times associated with the opening of the 1977-1978 school year. This issue included information about the cross country, football, and field hockey teams.

This issue of the newsletter to parents and students from Headmaster Robert C. Goodman, Jr. included the announcement of the formation of a guidance committee "...in response to a need for an organized system of advisors..." to address social and academic problems. The newsletter contained a number of announcements associated with testing, grading, and college visits. There were also a number of announcements of events, sales, raffles, etc. designed to raise funds for various programs and projects.

Newsletter, Vol. 5 No. 4, 7 October 1977
This news-filled issue of the newsletter from Headmaster Robert C. Goodman, Jr. opened with the announcement that Trinity enrollment had reached 455, from 387 families. This issue included events that had become part of the annual Trinity calendar (Homecoming, Book Fair, Oyster Roast), as well as arts events and athletic updates. The results of the student government elections were included.

Newsletter, Vol. 5 No. 5, 11 November 1977
In November 1977, Headmaster Robert C. Goodman, Jr. used the newsletter to outline and clarify logistics and policies for first-trimester exams. Another announcement of note was the introduction of a "student exchange" in which students from Trinity, Collegiate, St. Christopher's, and St. Catherine's Schools spent a day at each others' schools. A second page to this newsletter, signed by Bill Davies, concerned the Christmas Basketball Tournament scheduled for December 20-22, 1977. Davies was seeking advertisers for the tournament program from among Trinity parents.

Newsletter, Vol. 5 No. 6, 7 December 1977
The newsletter featured a new layout and design, perhaps to accommodate the increasing number of announcements. This issue grouped notices by general subject area and used headings to organize the content. Prominent among the items were arts news, Christmas vacation dates and times, and athletic updates.

Newsletter, Vol. 5 No. 7, 18 January 1978
This issue of the newsletter to parents and students featured a yearbook sales form, club and program events, and snow day policies. Trinity continued to feature guest artists' work on display on campus, and the newsletter usually included a brief biography of the artist and a description of his or her work.

Newsletter, Vol. 5 No. 8, 23 February 1978
The newsletter to parents and students, while continuing to be signed (or initialed) by Headmaster Robert C. Goodman, Jr. had moved from a narrative letter format to more of a collection of brief news items and announcements, organized by subject and topped by headlines. This content-rich issue included exam schedules, athletic tournament news, student art awards, and academic activities. The balance among all aspects of life at Trinity was evident.

Newsletter, Vol. 5 No. 9, 12 April 1978
In addition to the usual array of events, important dates, and congratulatory messages, this issue of the newsletter from Headmaster Robert C. Goodman, Jr. included a concise yet complete explanation of graduation requirements and scheduling recommendations to aid students and parents in selecting courses for the upcoming school year.

This special edition of the newsletter was entirely devoted to news of a two-day conference called "Close Encounters at Trinity High," held on April 25 and April 26, 1978. The conference included guest speakers (15) from academia, religious organizations, business, sports, and medicine; all touched on issues of self-esteem, self-worth, love, friendship, and service.

Newsletter, Vol. 5 No. 10, 11 May 1978
This issue included an announcement of the production of Our Town by the Trinity Players, evidence of the "...growing drama program." A number of summer programs were planned in sports and academics. Prom policies, procedures, and expectations were outlined.
