The letter welcomed Lee Putney to the Steering Committee. In the letter, Co-Chair Shands spoke of the speed with which progress was being made. He included the information that Trinity would be a "five-year school consisting of an 8th and 9th grade middle school and an upper school of 10th, 11th, and 12th grades." He said that the next scheduled meeting (June 17, 1971) would likely include the selection of an architect, and a definite plan for enrollment capacity. He also said that he hoped the "charter" would be obtained within a week, which would prompt a news release.
