This letter, directed to "interested parents," made three official announcements from the Steering Committee. The first was the name of the school, Trinity Episcopal High School. The second confirmed that the Right Reverend David S. Rose, bishop of the Diocese of Southern Virginia, had approved both the name and the plans for the new school. Third, that the charter for the school had been issued by the State Corporation Commission. The letter also thanked the parents for their support and moral encouragement, and asked for volunteer support. It also asked for additional names of interested parents to add to the mailing lists.
