Description
Because the new school grew out of both St. Michael's School and St. Michael's Episcopal Church, many of the founding documents reflect the close relationship between the leaders of those institutions and the other individuals working toward the creation of what would become Trinity Episcopal School. This letter, from the rector of St. Michael's Episcopal Church (Robert H. Steilberg), appointed William R. (Billy) Shands as acting chairman of the "New High School Committee", and established a meeting place and office support for the committee at the church parish house. Steilberg concluded with "Full steam ahead!"
