Initial Admissions Procedure (Draft and Final)

Title

Initial Admissions Procedure (Draft and Final)

Date

13 May 1971

Description

These documents (one a draft, the other a final copy) showed the initial admissions procedures. They established an Admissions Committee to handle the first admissions cycle; upon the opening of school, the headmaster would assume that responsibility. The procedures called for the use of the SSAT as a requirement for admission. In addition, three recommendations would accompany the application and fee; interviews with parents and student would be required, and "other considerations" would be recognized. These would include church affiliation, graduation from lower Episcopal school(s), sex, and likelihood of permanent attendance.
